Facial Anatomy Power Hour

Activity Overview

This online class will cover both on-label and off-label facial anatomy principles as it applies to the aesthetic injector, including include temple, tear trough, midface, lips, chin and jawline. During this one hour session, discussion topics will include key landmarks, topography, technique pears and 3D facial anatomy concepts.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and dentists involved in the care of patients undergoing medical aesthetic procedures. Learning Objectives Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

● Describe the anatomical structures that comprise the deep and superficial layers of the face including potential spaces and fat compartments.

● Identify the vascular & lymphatic pathways in the face as it relates to injection procedures.

● Determine the role that retaining ligaments play in each aesthetic subunit for facial volumization procedures.

I LOVED the course and will highly recommend this to others. I felt like the content in the fundamental course was appropriate. I look forward to taking the next level courses in the future (Masters and Advanced).  My instructor did an amazing job in every aspect!  I left feeling prepared to start my journey in injections.  I also plan to start scheduling more injections on patients (BONTA and Filler) now that I feel better prepared.

I have taken three courses and have been thoroughly pleased with all of them.  The basic and advanced Botulinum Toxin Type A/ Filler course I attended with Jill not only gave me all of the basics I needed to build a successful injectable practice, but gave me the confidence that I would have a support system in the rare event that I had an additional question after the training course.  The sclerotherapy course with Terri Harper was also very beneficial.  In the two years I have been practicing sclero in my practice I have had to contact Terri two times with a question and she has answered within a matter of minutes and offered additional help in the case of further issues.  I could not be happier with the training and follow up support  I receive with AAI and the talented staff I have met along the way.  I would highly recommend these classes and this fantastic group of professionals to anyone.
