I have taken three courses and have been thoroughly pleased with all of them. The basic and advanced Botulinum Toxin Type A/ Filler course I attended with Jill not only gave me all of the basics I needed to build a successful injectable practice, but gave me the confidence that I would have a support system in the rare event that I had an additional question after the training course. The sclerotherapy course with Terri Harper was also very beneficial. In the two years I have been practicing sclero in my practice I have had to contact Terri two times with a question and she has answered within a matter of minutes and offered additional help in the case of further issues. I could not be happier with the training and follow up support I receive with AAI and the talented staff I have met along the way. I would highly recommend these classes and this fantastic group of professionals to anyone.
Dr. Brothers was born in New York City and raised in New Jersey and South Florida. He received his undergraduate degree from Emory University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors in organic chemistry research. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine where he was elected to the AOA national medical honor society. Dr. Brothers completed his internship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas under Dr. Michael E. DeBakey. He then completed his residency in general surgery and trauma at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Medical Center. While a resident, he received multiple awards for his work on both trauma and burn victims and was trained and certified in microneural and microvascular surgery. His training in plastic and reconstructive surgery was at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He was then accepted for additional specialty training in cosmetic surgery with one of the most prominent and internationally respected cosmetic surgeons at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
Dr. Brothers is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is the founder of the Plastic Surgery Centre of Atlanta, PC and has served as the chief of plastic surgery at Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta, Northside Hospital and Perimeter Surgery Center of Atlanta. He also served as the secretary of the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Brothers is very well published in the field of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery and is a frequent guest lecturer.
Dr. Brothers is the CEO of Femtech, LLC and holds multiple US and international patents on plastic surgery related products. He is the developer of Le Mystere no. 9, a patented collection of fashion bras specifically designed for the augmented woman that is now available in over 30 countries.
Dr. Brothers lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his three daughters and in his spare time enjoys reading, writing, boating and he is a competitive cyclist.
